FNB Master Makers Accelerator Programme

Turning talent into thriving businesses.

Following a successful pilot programme in 2025, applications are now open for the FNB Master Maker Accelerator 2026 - KAMERS/Makers' flagship business growth programme designed to help high-potential makers scale their businesses.

Ten makers will be selected to take part in a four-month accelerator that combines R25,000 in working capital funded by FNB, business development and financial planning support, marketing and brand mentorship, sales and market access coaching, and national storytelling and media exposure. Participants will also have the opportunity to compete for the R100,000 Master Maker Grand Prize.

Why it matters

Small creative businesses often brim with talent, but face real barriers: limited capital, production challenges, and a lack of access to wider markets. This programme offers the kind of support that turns creativity into commercially sustainable success - with targeted funding, national exposure, and expert mentorship.

Making Matters Summit

Cape Town from 16- 18 August 2026

The summit is designed to provide practical tools, fresh perspectives, and meaningful connections to help makers navigate the next stage of their entrepreneurial journey. Topics will include marketing and brand building, AI and technology for small business, financial planning and business growth, product development and innovation, sales and market access, as well as leadership and entrepreneurship.

This year, the Making Matters Summit forms part of the FNB Master Maker Accelerator and is currently open to Accelerator finalists only.

However, we're exploring the possibility of opening the Summit to the broader KAMERS/Makers community as a ticketed event, giving more makers access to inspiring speakers, practical workshops, industry insights, and valuable networking opportunities.

If this is something you would be interested in attending, we'd love to hear from you.
